A Mobile Stay By The Wonder Vehicle, GMC PAD

General Motors Advanced Design’s GMC PAD

With uniqueness in design and structure, the General Motors Advanced Design’s GMC PAD has reached a high with its mobile urban loft, meant for those tired of the ever-soaring rates of the South Californian housing market. The new advanced GMC PAD’s home ownership concept provides an apt solution for the escalating urban sprawl, along with enabling the perturbed city dwellers with a geographical and cultural freedom.

On 7th January, 2005, the mobile GMC PAD bagged the “California Design Challenge” at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The wonder vehicle is equipped to be made use for several governmental purposes, as well as for the public sector, such as on-site offices for construction, media, as also for disaster response and emergency accommodation.

The GMC PAD accompanies a Diesel-Electric hybrid system that is used as a generator for the onboard power supplies as also for the propulsion of the Drive mode. Apart from these technical supports, the wonder car is also appropriately equipped with almost every detail from a Direct TV, XM Satellite Wi-Fi, and LCD interior architecture that makes it suitable for a media-friendly environment. The PAD’S SkyDeck suitably enables the gorgeous views of LA.
