Burj Al Arab – An Earthy Paradise of Luxury and Indulgence

Burj Al Arab is perhaps the most sought after and most talked about hotel in the world today. Situated in the coastline of Dubai, this hotel has become an iconic and legendary symbol of status and wealth. The opulent hotel is one of the most photographed structures in the world. Designed to be different and unique, the hotel resembles a billowing sail and dominated the Dubai skyline. With at a height of 321 meters, Burj Al Arab is the second tallest hotel building in the word and truly impressive and awe-inspiring.

This all-suite “Five-star duplex” hotel represents the best that there is to offer. Here, every need of the guest is anticipated and met. Nothing is ever left wanting for the esteemed and powerful guests at Burj Al Arab. Here, guests are assured the ultimate personal care and luxury experience – after all, this is the world’s most luxurious hotel we are talking about!

    The design and the construction

The hotel is constructed on an artificial island constructed 920 feet offshore. To secure the foundation of the hotel, 230 concrete piles have been driven into the sand. Apart from this, engineers have created a surface layer of large rocks that are created in a honeycomb pattern. This helps to protect the foundation from erosion.

The suites have a design that juxtaposes elements of the east and the west. There are beautiful Tuscan columns and a spiral staircase that is covered in marble with a wrought-iron gold leaf railing. The mosaic pattern in the floors and the walls are influenced by Arabian geometries.

    Services and more

Burj Al Arab offers boundless lifestyle opportunities to its guest. Unlimited access to Wild Wadi Water Park, along with innumerable watersport opportunities at Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Madinat Jumeirah, you will never have a single dull moment at Burj Al Arab. If water is not what you want, take a hot air balloon safari at the desert. Other opportunities in the hotel include horse riding, polo, tennis and a round of golf on excellent courses.

Guests will have butlers on their call, round the clock; they will also have access to private shoppers, reception desks at every floor, along with subtle in-suite check-in. The lavishly appointed duplex rooms are fitted with hi-fi technological gadgets, plasma screens, private business facilities, rain shower, pillow menu selection and even Jacuzzi in every bedroom. They can seep themselves in the serene feeling of wellness in Burj Al Arab’s oriental massage spa, Assawan Spa & Health Club.

    Rooms and prices

The 28 double-story floors in the building accommodate 202 bedroom suites. The smallest suit is about 1,820 sq ft, and the largest is 8,400 sq ft. You need to cough up at least US$1,000 per night here, while for the Royal Suite starts at US$28,000 per night.

    Restaurants

The hotels features amazing restaurants – the Al Muntaha offers a great view of Dubai. The other restaurant, Al Mahara meaning “The Oyster”, can be accessed via a simulated submarine voyage. It also features a large seawater aquarium, holding roughly 990,000 liters of water.

This huge luxurious structure is indeed a “triumph of money over practicality”, but the money spent is more than worth it! It is truly a “theater of opulence is created in Burj Al Arab.”
