It can execute a man from miles – is a long-range sniper rifle with immense punch. Old news…the TacMcMillian .50 cal that the Nato Forces uses is more accurate (Although slower since it’s bolt action). The Barret is not designed to be used against personel, it was made to destroy vehicles.

there are 20mm sniper rifles in other countries, .50 cal is only 12.7mm, you should look outside of the american propaganda blanket sometime.

The truth is, given enough power and weight, most semi-auto weapons will do the job of taking out the target, but taking it into the field and staying with it for days trying to stalk a target becomes a real problem. Which makes bolt action rifles a prefered choice because of their ease of maintenance.
.50 cal is a gun, not a rifle.
