Manufactured more than 40 years back, one amongst the series of miniature cars – Peel P50 was much smaller as compared to its contemporaries. The car was small enough to make it in the Guinness book of world records as the smallest production car. It was also rated as one ofthe cheapest cars ever at £190, running 100 miles a gallon. The car features a 49 cc engine, and light enough to be picked up upstairs without hassles. Owing its miniature size Peel P50 is free of parking problems and even allows roaming along the corridors or about a room.
There are so many positives with Peel P50, however it not free of drawbacks - to be managed. The main concern being the speed, Peel is slow. Moreover, the one-seater three-wheeler is not quite safe at road and the exhaust smokes a lot causing pollution. Amazingly, the car lacks a reverse gear - most essential for any auto. However, the Peel P50 carries its own style and charm beguiling for any car-buff.
